Year 3

A big hello from all of us in Class 3!

There are 24 of us, taught by Mrs. Padfield and Mrs. Taylor.

We are fortunate to have Mrs Russell Mrs. Dunne, Mrs.Guinan and Mrs Yeh also working with us.

Our class motto is: "We are here to learn, look after each other and do our best".

Here are some of the things we have been getting up to so far.

We have really enjoyed our recent Book Week. On the Monday we dressed up as our favourite book characters and brought in our favourite books to share with the class.

Our book week theme was Roald Dahl monsters. We created our own monsters and monster names based on the language and descriptions Roald Dahl used in his books.

We had a fantastic visit from David Webb, the children's author, and thoroughly enjoyed listening to him read to us and share with us some of his top tips for story writing. We will definitely be trying them out before the end of the year!

We also produced our own book covers for a class competition which David Webb kindly agreed to judge, as it was too difficult for the teachers to choose between them!
